Also my room, when I finally found it, was large, attractive and very comfortable with a lovely bathroom. It's just that getting to it was a pain. Doesn't sound that hard but the lift kept stopping at other floors even with nobody there and there's no indication when you step out the lif - The impressive and imposing looks of this hotel are supported by equally impressive facilities and very professional and friendly staff. The hotel is situated on the main road through Mellieha, making it very easy to find and, with a bus stop immediately outside, a handy base for travelling to Gozo, Valletta and Mdina. We made use of the sauna and steam room facilities which were clean and serviceable. The hotel has a choice of dining facilities. On the one night we ate there we had a very nice
