Public transport service on Malta is efficient and reasonably priced. The main bus terminus in Malta runs from Valletta and on Gozo all services run to and from Victoria. Buses go to particularly every corner of the islands and the average length of the bus trip is 20-30 minutes and the longest trip takes 50 minutes. Timetables and routes can be picked up at any bus information kiosk outside Valletta City Gate or on http://www.atp.com.mt/. All single journey tickets are purchased from the bus driver as you board and children under 10 years take the trip at half price. Always try to have small coins to hand even though drivers do provide change. 1-day, 3-day, 5-day and 7-day trip saver ticket can be acquired at bus terminal at Valletta, Sliema and Bugibba ferries or from and BOV bank branch.
