Very friendly and helpful staff. Coffee shop downstairs. Close access to sea. Access to Cafe Del Mar and Tourist Street. Good eve entertainment. Great view of sea. Complaints/repairs dealt with adequately and quickly. We liked the friendly staff. they were excellent. From top management right down to the cleaners. Location and view over the sea from the large balcony. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms Friendly staff Good value for money. good location good breakfast room was fine/clean/comfortable very close to bus stop good breakfast. frendly clean and good value for price. The pool and the evening shows. pool area. Location. Rooms a little tired. Guests allowed to reserve sun beds at 0700 hrs. Not enough room/sun beds around pool. Charges for safe. Noisy/barely adequate a/c. The only thing we didn't like was there there was no coffee or tea in our room, even though there was an electric kettle there. As we are early risers, a cup of coffee is the first thing on our agenda. Paying for internet that didn't work. I would have thought that the cost of the rooms would have covered free Wi-Fi. Instead we had to put up with no internet for 4 days. Breakfast was spoiled by weak coffee and fruit juice. Evening entertainment not to our taste (but in fairness others seemed to be enjoying it). Qawra itself is a bit limited in terms of decent bars and restaurants. The following came across as just cheap -no free wifi - had to pay euro 10 deposit for tv remote control - kettle but no tea or coffee sachets provided - ONE tiny soap given for a five day visit - the hair dryer..it is in a drawer and the only way to use it is to sit on the floor - they allowed people to "reserve" poolside seats with towels at 6.30am. This is just ridiculous. being woken up 7-7-30am by cleaners moving items around in agasent rooms and coridoors. The food that was in the bar near the pool is not healthy some more salads pls thanks. The guests of this hotel have to leave their rooms before 11 a.m., it is very early time. And, the worst thing is, that the cleanihg of our room was started mach more before 11 a.m. We were very disliked about this. Poor service at breakfast. at one time there wasn't any cups to have coffee. we had to wait a long time for them. coffee or cappuccino not good at all. it was the my 1st & last visit there. sorry. We paid extra for a sea view which we got along with the noise that goes with a main road in front of the hotel. Rooms we very poorly sound proofed. The pillows were as old as the room which could have least got a lick of paint at the start of the season. I think their 4 star rating needs to be revisited.
