An amazing holiday! When booking a holiday I always look for small boutique hotels, villas or guesthouses. Booked the Green Grove Guest House as it just sounded for me the right place to stay in. Everything beat my expectations! The guest house is ideally situated in a very quiet area though only 10 min walk to Paceville; the place is well presented, rooms nicely furnished and very clean; the bar is such a character it-self. alle vurderinger » Our stay at the Green Grove was wonderful! It's tucked away on a quiet street away from the crazy Maltese traffic. The rooms are a good size, and the air conditioning worked great. Wifi reception was ok on the bottom floor, but was weak on the upper level. The hospitality was great, everyone was always very eager to help and to offer information and advice about things to do around Malta. Do not leave without trying the food from the restaurant at least once! The rabbit was really good, but the. The owners of the guest house (Maria, Marc and Sean) are very friendly and helpful. They helped to arrange everything I needed. The guest house is itself really cozy and they clean the rooms every day which is quite remarkable considering we are talking about a small family owned place. The location is excellent (center of St. Julians is 5 minutes walk, bus stop 1 minute). To find the place is a bit tricky though, so be prepared. Maria at the breakfast, Marc in the kitchen and Sean in the bar m. Green Grove Guest House is a charming bed and breakfast. It is in a quiet neighborhood away from the bustle of St. Julian’s, yet it is close enough so you can walk to the bars and restaurants. Although, if you don’t want to walk to the town, the guest house serves excellent dinners and has a cozy little bar as well. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and a very nice breakfast is served. Mark and Maria make you feel very welcome, and they genuinely seem to care about their guests. A perfect stay in a lovely & clean guest house. Run by a beautiful family who make you feel comfortable & see to all your needs. Excellent breakfast. Close walking distance to the beach, shops, nightlife & bus stop to get around. Even though we ventured out for dinner, the hotel food looked superb. We'd love to stay here again!. The staff were wonderful - really helpful and friendly. And the decor was cool and quirky. It's a very comfortable place to stay and the cost was extremely competitive. the family of the owners was very friendly and helpful and warm, the food is great, and the rooms are nice. when something doesn't work, it is fixed right away. the owners were very kind and nice people; also the hotel was very comfortable and clean; if i visit Malta again; i would prefer to stay at Green Groove again. The location was good, good bus links. A lot available locally. The owners and staff were fantastic, happy to advise or leave you alone, really super place. The hot water in the shower is extremely hot and needs to be turned down a little. My wife received quite a bad burn from only slightly touching the faucet. Breakfast was ok, but could have had a few more options. Nothing. Everything was great. Only downside was the shower which wasn’t very powerful and the nozzle didn’t stay upright. we stayed for four nights. unfortunately, there was a wedding anniversary celebration one night, that kept us waking up until 2:00 a.m. at least. it would have been nice to have had advance warning of this!.
