  Our stay at Lantern was excellent! This hotel is family run, and the caretaker, Joseph, did everything he could to ensure a pleasant stay, including staying up late to accommodate our late arrival. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast (made in traditional Maltese style by Joseph and his family) was freshly made and very good. The family that run this place worked extremely hard to provide a clean and friendly atmosphere and meet requests from guests. Everything was positive - I have spent a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location is gorgeous and we were lucky enough to stay in room 601. It was comfortable, clean and best of all, overlooking the the bay. On arrival the receptionist took us not only to our room but guided us to the restaurant where breakfast is served. As the hotel is on different levels this was a great service. I will return to the hotel. I couldn't have asked for more.
