  We arrived late in the day, one call to Raphael is all it took to elicit his quick appearance. Very friendly host, showed us around the area (at our request) and was very eager to ensure that we settled in nicely. Accommodations are fine. Do yourself a big favor and pack a lighter for the stove and oven - as the local matches don't do well with... vad folk säger » the slightest bit of humidity. It was a nice touch that Raphael visited the next morning to see that we were finding everything okay and to answer an - Great views and Marsalforn is a good, quiet place to stay on Gozo. Raphael very helpful and would ask daily if we needed anything. It's basic and a bit sparsely decorated, but clean, safe, and a good choice if you just want a good price for a place to stay with good views, right near a couple nice harbours with facility to cook on your own. As a restaurant suggestion, La Pulena (italian) on seafront in Marsalforn was great, and the Otter on the way from apartments to town was very nice as well.

  It's a lovely place, with lots of space, several bathrooms and toilets, lots of towels, bedside lamps that made reading in bed a delight (and comfy beds). Beatiful terrace with a nice pool (a bit cold during our stay). It is a short walk into Xaghra centre where there are food shops (at least one of which will deliver food), restaurants. Easy to park your car on the street, but I think that there is also a garage space - The farmhouse was spacious,comfortable and very well equipped with private pool and sunbeds. Monica was most helpful with booking trips, taxis and any other queries (although the square is only a ten minute walk). The starter food pack was so welcome on arrival off a late flight. We (four ladies) loved this spacious accommodation but it would also be ideal for a family.

  The apartment was beautiful, characterful, and well-kept. Terrace with shared pool had a lovely view. Electric blanket came in very useful in January! Be aware that some of these apartments have separate bedrooms reached via outside stairs - you may need a torch at night. You also need to bring some food/get some on the ferry if arriving in eveni... vad folk säger » ng/sunday as the lighthouse supermarket often has short hours. - b b Being out of the way, being able to park, the oldworldliness of the building, the local supermarket, the swimming pool, the view, the church and the cooking faliities.

  The price was extremely good for a May booking. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. The buildings and pool area are very pretty and built in the local farmhouse style. - The generous size of the accommodation and private terrace. The arrangement of the units around the pool.   Our stay at Lantern was excellent! This hotel is family run, and the caretaker, Joseph, did everything he could to ensure a pleasant stay, including staying up late to accommodate our late arrival. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast (made in traditional Maltese style by Joseph and his family) was freshly made and very good. They even watched our luggage while we were out sightseeing after we had checked out, which made the day af - I spent two fantastic weeks at the Lantern Guest House. The family that run this place worked extremely hard to provide a clean and friendly atmosphere and meet requests from guests. The fan in my room was ample to provide relief from unseasonable heat & breakfast had a variety of choices including Fresh Fruit, Cereal, Breads, Ham, Salami, Chese, Cakes and Bacon and eggs (cooked as per your request) I thank the Saliba family for their Hospitality!

  We stayed at Ta'Karmnu in the picturesque village of Ghasri, about 20mins walk/5 mins car or bus journey north of Victoria (Gozo's capital). The villa could not have been more lovely - clean, quiet, with 3 bathrooms, 3 double bedrooms & a lovely pool. I can't recommend the island of Gozo highly enough for a relaxing, peaceful, beautifu - I stayed at Villa Sophia in Villagg Tal Fanal Gozo ,the fact that it is in a quiet area and it also has big rooms and kitchen living are nice pool and pool area. good for walks in the countryside and beach very close

  Can not fault the place .... If you want to "chillax" in a lovely place with a great pool, no noise, relaxing atmoshere then look no further! Apartments are great, very comfortable and with everything you need ..... There is a handy supermarket a five minute drive away with good prices. There is even a small football pitch if you feel the need ...... vad folk säger » Ignore the negative comments and speak how you find .... "the place is great" and very good value for money.
