I loved it. The whole staff made me feel as I was part of the family. It looks like a family run business. They cooked breakfast for me everyday and they took it to my room free of charge. Lovely staff. Facilities are good, bear in mind that it is a simple hotel, not a 5 star, but has everything you need if you are on holidays. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at VB Apartments. The owner was friendly and helpful and the apartment had everything I needed. Perfect location, amazing views of the bay, staff willing to please you. There are parking spots easy to find (at least in late May). There are many bars around and noise from them are noticiable but not disturbing to my opinion, as windows are double glazed. I read some reviews complaining about that. Some should bear in mind that Sliema is a night life area, not a monastery. However for the pickiest ones, ear plugs would be an easy solution.

The beds are comfortable, there is a kitchen to cook in and a nice living room and garden to hang out together.

Knights in Malta is a beautiful old property with lovely designed spacious rooms. John and Dee are very friendly and made the stay quite special by e.g. serving malta specialities for breakfast. Naxxar is a great location for exploring Malta as nothing is further then 30min away. We had a small car and could explore the whole island easily. Also most of the good dive shops and dive sites are only 15min away.
We definitely recommend this as the place to stay for your holiday in Malta
