  The building is unique and interesting - nothing boring here, but not too much either. The welcome was just right - the hosts are friendly and hospitable, but not intrusive. They were helpful, kind and accommodating. Everything in the guest house felt well cared-for and clean, and it was exactly what I was looking for. The location was perfect ... was die leute sagen » visiting my family, and the street was quiet without being out-of-the-way. - This is my second time at Bla Dorren, and it has been just right once again! The beautiful building is decorated simply which enhances the beauty of the high ceilings and tile floors and the abundant light from outside. Breakfast is fresh and abundant. The location has been quite convenient, near the bay, near the bus, plenty of dining, and many places to walk. The hosts are kind and attentive, but never intrude.

Naxxar as lots of good places to eat and drink; very central to access the rest of Malta. We will certainly be back - We stayed at Chapel % for 1 week and had a great experience there. The owner Malcolm & Alex are lovely couple, very kind, gave us lots of help during our stay. We got upgraded to honeymoon suite, and the room is very stylish, we loved it so much. Breakfasts were lovely, plenty of choices. The complimentary 30 min massage was really amazing...

I arrived after midnight but was still warmly welcomed. The whole place was clean and had a lot of charm and character, and the facilities all worked. As a solo traveller on this occasion it was great to be able to chat with other guests at the breakfast table. John could provide very useful loca - Knights in Malta is a beautiful old property with lovely designed spacious rooms. John and Dee are very friendly and made the stay quite special by e.g. serving malta specialities for breakfast. Naxxar is a great location for exploring Malta as nothing is further then 30min away. We had a small car and could explore the whole island easily. Also most of the good dive shops and dive sites are only 15min away. We definitely recommend this as the place to stay for your holiday in Malta

The Villa del Porto is situated in a quiet part of the three cities and is convenient for local buses, small café/bar and several superb restaurants are a short (perhaps 20 minutes walk or 3 minutes by Aldo's taxi) away on Birgu marina
