  We arrived close to 9pm and a concierge Joe met us. I really appreciated how he treat people. We were exhausted after the flight, but once we entered the hotel and Joe met us I was so surprised and pleased. Judging the staff on the example of Joe, I conclude that the staff is prefossional. I've stayed in many hotels so far in my life and this was the first time I said "thank you for a wonderful stay" as I checked out. The staff were friendly and informative, buffet meals were varied and tasty, sky lounge was beautiful, pool was super and the crazy golf was fun.

  The staff was very helpful and being right on the water was great - I had a couple of complaints - they were dealt with promptly and I was compensated - for the most part the staff were very helpful. The view was fabulous and it was a very quiet place to stay if you want a get away from it ALL holiday.   Liked everything about this little hotel! Arrived late at night - no problem, the hotel had been in touch prior to arrival which made us feel really welcome. Huge thanks particularly to Lizzie (reception, lots of helpful tips and recommendations), Barbara (ever smiling, breakfasts cooked to order - brilliant!) and Milka (who looked after our room ... what people say » very well). Excellent location. Very pleasantly surprised that the 'room' we booked turned out to be a very modern mini suite with separate lounge / k - I loved it. The whole staff made me feel as I was part of the family. It looks like a family run business. They cooked breakfast for me everyday and they took it to my room free of charge. Lovely staff. Facilities are good, bear in mind that it is a simple hotel, not a 5 star, but has everything you need if you are on holidays.   The hotel was lovely...great food at good prices. It was close to all you could want. I liked being able to make use of all pools and walk through to the water front. We got a water taxi from there to the blue lagoon for the day and dropped back..very handy. The location was perfect - the food was excellent - the staff were friendly - The value was superb - the room was neat and clean - we had secure storage for valuables - - Stunning views over harbour and great location next to Valletta ferry from Sliema!   We booked an apartment for 2 people and were pleased that it comprised area of around 50-60 m2, fitted with 2 bathrooms (!), of which we used only one, bedroom, living room and a functional kitchen with all necessary utensils. The hotel was not especially booked, but it pleased us again to notice that we got nice seaview balcony (not all balconies... what people say » feature seaview, some overlook a side street). Excellent value for money for those who prefer to prepare food independently (avoiding english breakfa - l'emplacement de l'hôtel : facile d'accès et calme.
