  I am Maltese, and i like this hotel so much and i go so frequent, it is in the centre of so many attractions and night life. the hotel is so up to standard and inside everything is perfect, comfortable pillows, mattress and amongst all the cleanliness is inapplicable - Everything is great, location, service, hotel rooms, we stayed in the suite,... what people say » 60mq, with big balcony.   Hotel Santana was so much better than we had expected, it is a delightful 4 star hotel right beside the bugibba bus terminal where you can take a bus to anywhere on the island, the staff are extremely friendly and willing to assist you with any queries or questions you may have, always smiling and cheerful. We were very happy with our standard room which was a good size and had a good sized balcony. The room was serviced everyday.

The hotel is situated on the main road through Mellieha, making it very easy to find and, with a bus stop immediately outside, a handy base for travelling to Gozo, Valletta and Mdina.   We arrived close to 9pm and a concierge Joe met us. I really appreciated how he treat people. We were exhausted after the flight, but once we entered the hotel and Joe met us I was so surprised and pleased. Judging the staff on the example of Joe, I conclude that the staff is prefossional.   The staff was very helpful and being right on the water was great - I had a couple of complaints - they were dealt with promptly and I was compensated - for the most part the staff were very helpful. The view was fabulous and it was a very quiet place to stay if you want a get away from it ALL holiday.   The price of this hotel and spa was amazing and the location couldn't be better, only a two second walk to the water. The spa was absolutely beautiful and I couldn't be happier with the staff.
