High... what people say » ly recommended. 9-9.5/10 - Loved the warm welcome at the bus stop, the peace and tranquilty and the way the old farmhouse had been done up.     Last night tonight of a wonderful weeks stay with Violet and Albert at Ta Bertu. A beautiful Maltese home awaits you with all you need for a fantastic holiday. Set in beautiful gardens with a fabulous pool, you are made to feel totally welcome by your hosts who are full of information and helpful advice if you need it. What you do need is a car,... what people say » as the house is off the beaten track (quite literally) and to make the most of the island and all the wonderful places it is a must. Lovely typical - Albert and Violet are a lovely couple and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the pool is lovely and the meals were fantastic and value for money. You must try Alberts home made wine it is delicious (we brought 2 bottles home with us to have at Christmas). We stayed in room 3 but we did not have any of the problems that some other reviewers had. It was not noisey when someone had a shower. Everywhere was accessible by bus and was very easy to use.
