  We booked an apartment for 2 people and were pleased that it comprised area of around 50-60 m2, fitted with 2 bathrooms (!), of which we used only one, bedroom, living room and a functional kitchen with all necessary utensils.   It was smack bang in the middle of Sliema, close to the High Street. I needed a hair dryer which I got without paying deposit. Great decor and plenty of space. All crockery and cutlery was available, nice new flat screen tv. We arrived when there were refurbishment works going on, but that did not disturb us. Good shower and good size bathroom.   I loved the location! Right next to the famous Blue Lagoon and with two little sandy bays of its own too. We booked for 3 nights and used the island as a base to explore Gozo on one day and also make a trip to Mdina in Malta one day. Overall the boats are frequent as various companies are available.
