Nice renovated old house in the old neighborhood. Close to some
attractions (Hypogeum + Tarxien Temples). Very friendly and talkative
hosts. No problem with parking close to the property. You stay in the
big family house (five children). If you prefer to have a full privacy
at quiet place, this property is not for you. If you accept it, you can

While booking you should consider that it's a family-run guest house - as for us, much more intersting place than a five star hotel.
Not for petty-minded finicking people jiggling the staff all the time but respectful ones who are rather curious to a wonderful family living in Malta too.
Whenever returning to Malta we'll choose them again. Tho we don't have other experiences with accomodation in there, are sure that it just can't be better.

The building is unique and interesting - nothing boring here, but not too much either. The welcome was just right - the hosts are friendly and hospitable, but not intrusive. They were helpful, kind and accommodating. Everything in the guest house felt well cared-for and clean, and it was exactly what I was looking for.

This is my second time at Bla Dorren, and it has been just right once again! The beautiful building is decorated simply which enhances the beauty of the high ceilings and tile floors and the abundant light from outside. Breakfast is fresh and abundant. The location has been quite convenient, near the bay, near the bus, plenty of dining, and many places to walk. The hosts are kind and attentive, but never intrude.
