  An amazing holiday! When booking a holiday I always look for small boutique hotels, villas or guesthouses. Booked the Green Grove Guest House as it just sounded for me the right place to stay in. Everything beat my expectations!   My 8th stay at the Clover in the last 2 years,that should be recommendation enough!!! Excellent value for money.Good location for bus station,shops,pubs,restaurants and the sea.Rooms cleaned everyday.   The location was excellent for me as I had to work at the University (which was just across the valley). There was also a spacious car park which was useful, and it was also very easy to get onto the main road to travel around the Island. The staff were very friendly, helpful and pleasant.   This is a small hotel in a residential area close to the university and the gigantic (on the Maltan scales) Mater Dei hospital. The hotel offer accommodation for a very good price in clean rooms which are also prepared for self-catering use. The inroom wifi connection is excellent. The continental breakfast is simple, but ok. However instead there is - the hotel is very quiet and located countryside. no crowd people and no traffic noise. The room is very clean and staff is very kind and helpful.   Comfy beds and cool air conditioning in hot hot sunny Malta in Aug. As these were the main hotel requirements, room was ok. Close to everywhere we wanted to go.
