  Our stay at Lantern was excellent! This hotel is family run, and the caretaker, Joseph, did everything he could to ensure a pleasant stay, including staying up late to accommodate our late arrival. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast (made in traditional Maltese style by Joseph and his family) was freshly made and very good. They even watched our luggage while we were out sightseeing after we had checked out, which made the day af - I spent two fantastic weeks at the Lantern Guest House. The family that run this place worked extremely hard to provide a clean and friendly atmosphere and meet requests from guests. The fan in my room was ample to provide relief from unseasonable heat & breakfast had a variety of choices including Fresh Fruit, Cereal, Breads, Ham, Salami, Chese, Cakes and Bacon and eggs (cooked as per your request) I thank the Saliba family for their Hospitality!

  The Apartment is fully equipped and in immaculate condition. Very clean and spacious. You have all the needs for a relaxed self catering holiday. Our 2 kids really enjoyed the holiday especially their room with bunk beds and a pc with internet. So for them it felt like home. Walking distance to centre of Qala where you can have a good lunch or dinner at various well prices restaurants. Will totally - The apartment has plenty of space, high quality furnishings and fitting and is generously equipped. It was clean, cool and we felt very much that we were staying in a luxury property. The architecture and maintenance of the communal spaces add greatly to the experience of staying at Misrah Simar. The pool area is wonderful, the courtyard cool and welcoming. Everything was positive - I have spent a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location is gorgeous and we were lucky enough to stay in room 601. It was comfortable, clean and best of all, overlooking the the bay. On arrival the receptionist took us not only to our room but guided us to the restaurant where breakfast is served. As the hotel is on different levels this was a great service. I will return to the hotel. I couldn't have asked for more.   It is a very quiet hotel, with a very friendly staff, with clean, spacious rooms and free wi fi. Will be choosing this hotel for our next weekend break in Gozo. - The old Gozitan farmhouse is a wonderful building and there's a really friendly feel to the whole place.
