Nice renovated old house in the old neighborhood. Close to some attractions (Hypogeum + Tarxien Temples). Very friendly and talkative hosts. No problem with parking close to the property. You stay in the big family house (five children). If you prefer to have a full privacy at quiet place, this property is not for you. If you accept it, you can be…

rewarded with observing the normal (big) family life in Malta. The neighborhood was peaceful. Almost no noise inside from cars. Roosters have ensured - Absolutely recommended! While booking you should consider that it's a family-run guest house - as for us, much more intersting place than a five star hotel. Not for petty-minded finicking people jiggling the staff all the time but respectful ones who are rather curious to a wonderful family living in Malta too. Whenever returning to Malta we'll choose them again. Tho we don't have other experiences with accomodation in there, are sure that it just can't be better. Besides, Tarxien is an excelle

Guter Standort in Valletta, Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter an der Reception - Zentrale Lage, gescmackvolle Einrichtung von Restaurant und Gesellschaftsräumen

Lage nahe Busbahnhof, Aussicht auf Hafen - Lage, Einrichtungen, Restaurant

We realy liked The individual quirkiness, we stayed in the quadruple room with a balcony at the front overlooking the cathedral square. Tiny spiral staircase up to the second level, comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. The items scattered throughout the hotel give it a great interesting feeling and ambiance. The location is fantastic literally …

in the heart of the city. There is a nice roof terrace and we enjoyed breakfast, my son had a full breakfast English style, my wife and I had toasted - Location, Location, Location, but it does come at a price. The Cathedral bells, but after the first night you begin to not hear them anymore. The rooms were comfortable, each individually decorated, so some thought has gone into the hotel. If you like bland, boring plain hotels then you wont like this. The service was excellent. you have to check in at the restaurant counter, and when we arrived on a Friday lunchtime, the restaurant was very busy. I thought we would not get looked after, but th

Wonderful, new renovated room, excellent bed with 5***** comfort, air conditioned room, bathroom with window. Breakfast room on top terrace with views on the bay. Elevator available. Quite little street next to the bay. - My husband I have stayed 2 nights at the Port View Guesthouse in Marsaxlokk. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The Guesthouse just op…

ened up not to long ago, so we must have been one of the first guests in that room, actually one of the first ones at all. The rooms were spottless. The bathroom very modern and clean. The room was furnished with a table and a chair, a closet with a fridge and a small safe, a very comfy double box spring bed. It was really nice to have an AC even if we didn't need it all - The host, Charlie, is a really dedicated personality that understands the needs of persons having a good holiday: spacious room with an excellent bed (you can have a balcony room with a view to the harbour if you order it), always also fresh fruit at the breakfast table, but above all: an omnipresent landlord who cares about you: gives advice, ideas for trips and when he was asked about where to buy capers he brought us some homemade ones the following day, insisting that we accepted them as a

Location! We booked Grand Harbour view room and it was fantastic experience to see the "stories" and ships from our french balkony, or from directly our bed!!! every morning and evening. + It was close to all (Valetta is very small) + We could easily parking directly in front of the hotel. + The sound of gunfire clearly prevailed as the Grand Harb…

our water surface intensified it. As if they were in Suleiman's army again and shooting at forts. It was very interesting to wake up at 8am gunfire an - Views of the Grand Harbour could not be bettered. Reception staff went above and beyond the call when my wife fell ill late at night. They rang around for a doctor then organised a taxi to take us to the medical centre and then organised our trip back. A friendly homely hotel. Couldn't fault anything. Off season renovations are underway should be a cracker of a hotel when these are finished. Good old fashioned service and just a short stroll to the centre of historic Valletta. Highly recommend.

Loved the location in the centre of the Old Town close to all the historical sites, buildings, shops, transport and Museums. The staff were very friendly and the room, though small, was very clean and comfortable. Great breakfasts and very good value for money. - Everything was top notch. We loved the staff the complimentary breakfast. Our room ha…
