  Our apartment was newly renovated and fully equipped. All towelling & bedding was new and our beds were the most comfortable we have ever stayed in whilst on holiday. Even small items like salt & pepper, washing up liquid, tea towel, dishcloths were provided. We also had an iron, ironing board, kettle, toaster & microwave. Upon return to our apartment later that day we noticed our bathroom floor was comp - Perfect location, amazing views of the bay, staff willing to please you. There are parking spots easy to find (at least in late May). There are many bars around and noise from them are noticiable but not disturbing to my opinion, as windows are double glazed. I read some reviews complaining about that. Some should bear in mind that Sliema is a night life area, not a monastery. However for the pickiest ones, ear plugs would be an easy solution. Shops and restaurants are just a few minutes away, but the flat itself is in a quiet st - La Vallette was a really very successful choice of ours. We were very much pleased with its location - very near the main sights and famous restaurants. It's also very comfortable to get to the bus station from the hotel and travel about the island. Our flat with the sea view was very comfortable and homey. Our children were happy to get toy horses as a present and on the whole I should say our emotions during the holiday were extremely positive.
