The apartment was beautiful, characterful, and well-kept. Terrace with shared pool had a lovely view. Electric blanket came in very useful in January! Be aware that some of these apartments have separate bedrooms reached via outside stairs - you may need a torch at night. You also need to bring some food/get some on the ferry if arriving in evening/sunday as the lighthouse supermarket often has short hours.
all reviews b b Being out of the way, being able to park, the oldworldliness of the building, the local supermarket, the swimming pool, the view, the church and the cooking faliities. Converted farmhouse has a fantastic view and has a serene quiet atmosphere - the ideal place for a relaxing quiet holiday. Loved the old converted farmhouse look and the rustic decor. Excellent location and views from common pool area are superb. Free Wifi. I like the space of the house and view. There's a number of stray cats who know that they often get food from guests in these apartments and set up camp by the doorways waiting for possibility of next meal... The constant sound of gunfire, even before dayreak, killing thousands of our birds. TV set out of order. Common areas where full of dead insects and the place needed sweeping. Free wifi not reachable from pool area but could connect to other rooms using same passcode. no heater in one of the rooms. The BBQ was too small. This was advertised as a hotel when in fact it was a self catering farmhouse. Comfort was very uncomfortable with access to bedrooms from the outside.
