This family-run, 3-star hotel is located in the centre of Saint Julians, Paceville, overlooking Portomaso square and close to the yacht marina of Portomaso.
The Rokna Hotel is within walking distance to lidos with swimming pool and a sandy beach as well as to the centre of night entertainment. You will find many pubs, restaurants, clubs, cinemas, bowling and casinos.
Close to the Rokna Hotel are also buses that can take you to all parts of the island.
All of the rooms overlook the Hilton and Portomaso Square. Those on the second floor feature a balcony.
The hotel's restaurant/pizzeria is renowned as a popular place to eat on the island. Here, you can enjoy a wide variety of pizza specialities, baked in an original log oven (the only one on the island). The restaurant also offers a variety of meat, pasta, poultry, fish and salad dishes.

Booking a single room I was surprised getting a spacious double room, with big window, having lots of natural light, which is one of the most important things for me. I was a little bit sad that I was not that lucky to get a room with balcony, but I was happy with my room anyway. The staff is really helpful, friendly, giving you trip advices. Also after arriving I had problem with the air condition in my room, and they sent someone immediately. The location of the hotel is also perfect.all reviews
The location of the hotel which was close to all facilities. Bus stop to Golden Bay and Gozo near the hotel.The only thing I was not happy with is the breakfast. There are not so many choices, only cold breakfast, juices from the supermarket, no fresh juice, and you cannot get a tomato or some vegetable. The staff was attentive here too, they ask you immediately after arriving if you want coffee or tea. As there is a supermarket just few metres from the hotel, and you also have a big fridge in the room, I would say to buy everything the day before and have a nice breakfast in your room. . No. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, and we would definately come here again.Would loved had there been a pool area when weather was sooo hot but we know when we booked that there was none!. bathrooms a little on the small size, but great value for money.The bathroom is not formidable, but for the price we cannot consider better.After showering the floor of my bathroom was always full of water and I didn't know how to avoid it. But it was cleaned every day in the morning by the room service.Cleaning service switches the air conditioning off during cleaning (it can be hard for people from "colder" countries, during hot Maltese summer). Choice of breakfast food was rather boring.
