Very comfortable, modern and spacious room with excellent facilities including TV with range of channels including main English TV channels and free wifi. Hotel lobby also has Macs to use for free and a library with books you can loan. Hotel location is excellent - very close to many bars and restaurants and also a big shopping complex in Sliema is not too far (5 mins drive). The hotel offers free underground parking which was brilliant since we hired a car and there are not too many spaces ava.
alle bewertungen The Pool area on the roof was fun. The rooms were lovely clean and fresh. Loved the bathroom being seperate from the toilet. Having Wifi access meant I could keep upto date with my business in the uk. I travelled with my sister for our annual short break and we loved it. Staff were helpful, breakfast was really nice and lots of choice. We liked the idea of the security system they have for the lifts very clever - made us feel extra safe and also that the in-room safe was large enough for not on. The hotel is located very near to Dragonara Resort, where I had a conference in October '13. I was impressed by the welcoming - they offered a complimentary drink. Then the internet connection is quite good, room facilities are very cool, I had a balcony where I could smoke, I was able to arrange the temperature in the room as I pleased, the sleep quality was excellent, breakfast was at 4-star-hotel quality, the view from the 6th floor pool was superb (and the pool itself looks very cool, even . The hotel's location is perfect and easily accessible from the airport (approx 20 mins by taxi or you can use the X2 bus service which drops you off right in the heart of St Julian's - 2 minute walk from the hotel). This was in a fabulous location - 5 min. to the bar/restaurant area, 5 min. to the beach and 2 min. to the Hop on HOp off bus stops. The room was spacious and clean. We seemed to have had a disabled room - so the only problem was when you showered the water went everywhere because there was no 'lip' for the shower - just floor - so used a lot of towels. No restaurant - but so many close by that we didn't need it and they do offer a discount at a nearby local restaurant. Need to drive to reach closest beaches. Wish they had finished the building that they were still doing - it didn't effect us but it would have been nice to see the end finished result - maybe next time. Everything else was fantastic. Have no negatives about the hotel or staff etc. Was wonderful. Location set on inner streets and not overlooking sea can be the only minus. Our room was without balcony. But due to this it was verg quiet. I'd like to have the mini bar in the room.
