The staff was super kind and helpful, both the woman who helped us enter one night we forgot the access code (OPS!) and Mr Joseph at reception, who helped us arrange a really last minute tour for Gozo/Comino and gave us great advices and indications every morning. The public transportation is just one minute away from Onyx APT: you will find two different pick up/drop off poits from whom you can actually go to Valletta (20 minutes) Sliema (5/10 Minutes), Rabat+Golden Bay (40 minutes+20 more)...alle vurderinger
Onyx Suites was a great place to stay. It is situated in a great location, very easy to get to all the things you want to see in Malta. Apartments are new and very clean and have everything you would need if you wanted to eat meals in your room. There is a beach within walking distance and many great restaurants. The staff was very helpful and especially Cinzia, she was very welcoming and friendly even though she did not speak much english. The Onyx is under construction but that was not an.
We were 2 American couples and our 2 bedroom apartment was outstanding!
We have traveled in Europe before so we were pleasantly surprised by
how much room this apartment had - very spacious, very similar to an
American apartment. Bonuses you won't find in any other place in
Europe were the washer & dryer, 2 separate bathrooms, dining table
with separate living room and balcony. Full kitchen with brand new
appliances and very new furnishings. There is a grocery store right
around the corner .
Good size. All modern conveniences. Comfy bed. Very helpful staff. Good size terrace in penthouse rooms which is reasonably private. Does look over main road but bedroom at back so no road noise. Came and went as pleased. No hassle from cleaners coming in everyday so complete privacy. Some people may want linen and towels changed and apartment cleaned though which is a not a service provided. We did have ample towels for the week though and there is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the roo.
The appartment had everything we needed including washing machine and
tumble dryer. Nice touch having a bottle of wine when we arrived. The
appartment is situated in a central location, its clean and we had a
lovely view from the balcony. The staff were helpful, we arrived before
the appartment was ready but our luggage was stored and then taken to
our remove for when we arrived back.
Loved the location! Enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony facing the park. Far enough from bars (loud noises) but close to shopping, Portomaso (Loved walking along the docks), and some really good restaurants. Overall the room was clean and this is a great place to stay for a long or short vacation.
The penthouse suite was excellant really large and would be ideal for a family of 6.It included all the nessesary items plus washing machine dryers and a dish washer.It is beside a the restaurants and the bus stop is across the road.

Very nice and helpful reception staff, especially with arriving after midnight.
Look forward to longer stays, better than a hotel!!!

Walls between apartments were a bit thin so on 2 nights (weekend) when we had a young group staying next to us we could hear them when they got in after naught out. May be worth taking ear plugs just in case.

Our internet did not work for the first 3 days. IT had to be called to come fix the connection and it finally worked.
Our bathroom had a strong urine smell so we had to leave bathroom window open to air it out although it did not help much.
The bed could be a bit wider, more for Northern European statures. (the head board allows for more centimetres)
and we really always need two pillows, one of feather filling.
you could also do with another towel rail in the bathroom
could not find a tea towel.
But all was very ok for just 2 nights.
- Too noisy all night long (room on the first floor, just upon a live- music pub): maybe, on the upper floor it could have been quieter.
- No concierge at our arrival ( we had to phone to have the front- door opened).
Fresh towels needed.
