Directly on the sea and just opposite a public rocky beach, Ambassador Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Saint Paul’s Bay. It offers a nice outdoor pool overlooking Xemxija Bay. Each room at the Ambassador is air conditioned and features satellite TV and a balcony, some of which overlook the sea. They all have a private bathroom complete with a hairdryer and toiletries. The hotel’s restaurant serves a varied buffet of Malta cuisine and fresh seafood. Breakfast is also buffet style and includes coffee and a selection of sweet food. Hotel Ambassador is 24 km from Malta International Airport. Staff are available 24 hours a day and can organise excursions in the surroundings.

The staff were friendly and very helpful especially Lindsey who was on duty at 1.30am when we arrived. The hotel was basic but clean. This location suited my husband and myself as it was quiet, and the local buses were very good and cheap. I would be careful about recommending this part of St Paul's Bay because it would maybe too quiet for some but we would go back there again.

Hotel was tatty around the edges but great value for money.... Great gourmet Restaurent downstairs .. Would definitely stay here again!. The staff at the desk is friendly and helpful. The hotel is well served by buses and equipped with a good restaurant. Great restaurant. The only thing was the roads.They are terrible never mind what mode of transport you use. a bit out of the way. Pool closes already at 18.00h, airco didn't work in the bedroom, room and furniture could use some renovation, vending lmachine for drinks that was totally empty and no bar to purchase even some water. As I say a tiny bit scruffy but rooms very adequate ...:-). The lights in the room were often dropping down due to some electrical circuit problem; even if we notified the issue, it was not solved all the week long. There is few noise also during the night, probably due to the ongoing activities in the little harbour nearby. Problems with cleanliness. The room was not so comfortable .. The air condition didn't work in rights hours.The room was so hot! The bathroom and the bedroom wasn't cleaned .. The photos in letsbookhotel.com site,are too much different by reality! The pool was so dirty! .. And the breakfast was so terrible... I'm sorry but in one week passed in Malta ,the hotel,the only accommodation inadequate.
