overall the room was clean and the large pool was excellent. . Good evening entertainment.Location. Front desk staff polite and helpful. . A very good chambermaid trying to be so helpful when everything else was falling apart around her. Public reception areas were clean.
all reviews The slide pool was full of dead insects, making it impossible to use the slide. The water tap of our bathroom sprinkled water everywhere, whenever we used it. . The shower did not have much power.The room was dark with a small room - but it was economy. The lifts were very slow to arrive. Tea and coffe could be arranged better at breakfast for a faster moving queue.Bathrooms need upgrading (significant mould and poor quality plastic bathroom suite). Gym and pool facilities were not part of room rate and seperate to hotel. Noisy students in hotel! Room not ready on arrival, inconvenience on moving. Unable to get pool beds after breakfast due to people leaving towels on sunbeds then going elsewhere. Had to go to pool next door and pay 10 euros each. No tea/coffee facilities in room. No safe in room. Fan in room very noisy. . only 5 of 6 lifts worked and so slow to get service it is quicker to get to the top of the Empire State Building quicker than the 3rd floor of the Suncrest. Most days there were insuffient towels in the room as washing machine broken. Noise from multitudes of students staying there. Pool was disgustingly filthy. Front desk staff were unable to cope. A 4* without a room safe? Hotel is in very poor repair. I will be making a point to write a review in other forums. MTA should investigate.
