I stayed at the Sally Port self- catering apartments for 5 nights. I wanted somewhere quiet yet close to Valetta and its tourist attractions. The Sally Port Apartments in Senglea were a perfect choice for me. The apartments are in a recently restored traditional maltese house with super views of Valetta and its surrounds across the harbour from the second floor terrace (especially at night). We stayed for three nights at Sally Port Senglea and would have wished to stay longer. The room was comfortable and very well designed although we loved to spend time on the rooftop terrace with a stunning (!) view of the old towns of Valetta and Vittoriosa. The property has just been renovated which means it is in a perfect condition. Liliana - the owner of the house and the host - is a really nice person always ready to give tips and advice. Should you be concerned about the location of the h. Perfect location to discover Valletta and other cultural and historical site at Malta (but see "not likes" notes). Hotel is located in old authentic Maltese town, surrounded by charming old houses. There is no tourist crowd, just local residents. Small groceries shops are near by. It is very easy to reach Valletta by using public transport. You can choose water taxi or bus. Magnificent view from upper terrace. Liliana is very kind and helpful host. awesome views, good neighborhood, helpfulness of proprietor(Liliana)her interior decorating style, I wish it were my house! would have liked to have gotten to know proprietor, as we have similar interests, however she was always available by phone or e-mail and always sorted out any problem that arose, very professional would have loved to stay longer. İf you are travelng anywhere inMalta do yourself a favor and book a couple of nights here. We spent 3 unforgetable nights here.we should highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to relax local friendly hotel.the owner is very kind and helpful, terrace view is wonderfull! Thanks u Lilian will come back vizit again soon nevin. The location and the view are completely unforgettable. You don't get much better at all! Liliana has done a remarkable job of redesigning the interior of a lovely old Maltese home, tastefully and with great consideration to the original features and character of the building. Liliana herself is the warmest host you could ask for!. The view from the terrace is awesome! I think it's really the best one on the island!!! The city is nice, it's a pleasure to walk along waterfront looking at the harbour and yacht. This wonderful, comfortable accommodation is just perfect for anyone wanting to visit Valletta - close but not too close - magnificent views and easy to access the capital. Friendly welcome from Liliana . Well equipped and furnished room, in a quiet location. Lovely views, and easy access by water taxi to Valletta. location and ambience for a visit to the cultural aspects of malta a superb and interesting location fantastic views of the grand harbour. Not so good location to use beaches. Cleaning woman didn't work her job properly. cleaner thought she would take a day or 2 off while the proprietor was away, but Liliana got the situation under control and cleaner was still in training- so nothing major!. A few restaurants on the waterfront but limited choice if you want to be in walking distance.
