The longest established hotel in Valletta, Hotel British is set in a pleasant, terraced street. The rooftop restaurant serves traditional Maltese food and overlooks the Grand Harbour. Family owned and managed, British Hotel offers free Wi-Fi in the lobby. There is also an internet point on the second floor. All rooms have private bathrooms and face the street. You can enjoy sea views at the restaurant and bar. Both Continental and English breakfasts are available at an extra charge. Lunch and dinner are served daily in the Panorama restaurant overlooking the Grand Harbour. The British is close to Valetta’s shopping area and just a 10-minute walk from the bus terminus.

Fantastic view from the room and the restaurant plus the terrace on the roof, very comfortable beds, very good service, very friendly. We will recommend it to our friends.The staff were generally very helpful and the room was very clean.The location of the hotel was excellent - only a few minutes walk from the main bus terminal and the centre of Valletta. The views over the harbour were stunning too. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms were basic but adequate, plus very clean and comfortable, and great value for money in my opinion.

Very friendly staff, good food, good location. clean room, value is good. Airy and large bedroom with excellent lighting - good for reading in bed! Wonderful view out over the Grand Harbour - the situation couldn't be bettered. Breakfast could be better - it never varied one iota! However, the bread was fresh and the cheese and ham good. Someone always on the desk and were helpful if asked. Very well placed in Valetta - a short walk to everywhere.wonderful overview about grand harbour. Stunning views, helpful staff. helpfulness of staff. the close proximity to the town and other attractions in vallete.The tea and coffee could be hotter, and the dinner menu slightly more varied.when I ate breakfast, one staff ask me to change the table, because this table is for lunch. I felt not good, you can make a marker before your customer sit there. Not during my breakfast time. It is rude.Nothing. It was altogether a good experience and the rather dull, 1970s entrance hall should not put people off.the salute - first at 8a.m.- and fireworks --latest at 11p.m.- in grand harbour, very loudly and noisy. no lift to get to my room for 5th floor. toilet sprayed everywhere when toilet flushed. The bells chimed on the hour .

We are loacted in Valletta which is the capital city of Malta. The main bus terminus , museums, churches , shops , banks conference centre and seaport are only about 10 mins away from the hotel
