We booked Grand Harbour view room and it was fantastic experience to see the "stories" and ships from our french balkony, or from directly our bed!!! every morning and evening. + It was close to all (Valetta is very small) + We could easily parking directly in front of the hotel. + The sound of gunfire clearly prevailed as the Grand Harbour water surface intensified it. todo comentarios Views of the Grand Harbour could not be bettered. Reception staff went above and beyond the call when my wife fell ill late at night. They rang around for a doctor then organised a taxi to take us to the medical centre and then organised our trip back. A friendly homely hotel. Couldn't fault anything. Off season renovations are underway should be a cracker of a hotel when these are finished. Good old fashioned service and just a short stroll to the centre of historic Valletta. Highly recommend. Location, friendly staff, private roof terrace with a great view. We left our luggage there on the last day, and the staff arranged a taxi at our request, all worked very efficiently. There was no breakfast available due to renovations, but we knew that when we booked, and the hotel were happy for us to bring our travel kettle, so we were able to have a simple breakfast on the roof terrace, which undoubtedly had a better view than the dining room! We would certainly recommend this hotel. Excellent view specially sunset. High quality breakfast will give you extra power to you for a good starting of a new day. Location is unbelievable. Enter to the city and walk by main square. Then turn right and walk on until end. You will be reach the door. Perfect. Location excellent, in heart of everything. We had a sea view and it was fantastic overlooking the Three Cities. Staff were friendly. Room was recently redecorated. Breakfast was perfect for us (cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit). They let us leave our bags here for a few hours a week after we checked out, which was great as there is nowhere for left luggage in the city. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Valletta. The location of the hotel is great. It overlooks the harbour and just a 5 minute walk from the cathedral. The staff is very pleasant. Though it smells a bit damp as you first enter the hotel, the rooms are clean and well equipped, the bathroom accessories are new and the rooms smell fine. the breakfast is simple but tasty. City centre location was excellent. Very good value for money. Staff were really friendly, helpful, polite and informative. Rooftop terrace overlooks grand harbour and is a perfect setting for a romantic breakfast or for any occasion. Hotel rooms were very clean and modern. Reception area to be upgraded from November 2013. Great location and with fantastic views of the Grand Harbour. Even if you have a room at the back of the hotel, they have a roof terrace anyway. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite, and it felt like a family run business which was more personal. The rooms were clean, nicely furnished and offered TV and air con. absolutely fell in love with this hotel - great views from our room opening window right onto the harbour with old city views and shipping activity. Quiet hotel - very helpful staff (all family)- great for city and ferry access. Breakfast great Free Wi-Fi- all facilities clean and adequate size rooms and bathroom. We did like the helpful and friendly staff and the room was excellent (newly furnished, big, well-equipped and neat) for a 2-star hotel (though we may have been a little discouraged by the dining room). We had no chance to try the breakfast since we had to leave early after a one-night stay. Breakfast was pretty boring. Sometimes, when the next bar was fun, a great noise was coming from the street. Nothing. Nothing really. Only small negative was that the breakfast area was a little old & run down but there seems to be works in progress to update this and it didn't affect our enjoyment of this hotel. It's possible that the rooms on some floors may also be a little old, although you'll be able to see this clearly in picutres when booking. We booked a double room with a view but chose a twin room on arrival because of an irresistible grand harbour view. The available double did not have a great grand harbour view as we hoped for. We missed our double bed! Breakfast was basic but sufficient. Cereals, bread, yogurt, orange juice, tea, coffee. Sadly, the lobby and breakfast area were a bit shabby and in need of a makeover. In fact, I did spot a notice saying 'about to refurbish', so maybe they will sort it soon! Also the breakfasts were very basic! Bread, cereal, yoghurt, tea and coffee. It just wasnt worth the 68 euro price tag. Towels bit threadbare - clean but thin (which applies even to better star hotels in our experience). The diding room looked very oldfashioned and dark and made a rather bad first impression.
