Downtown Hotel boasts a central location in the heart of Victoria, the main town on the island of Gozo. It features a rooftop pool and an excellent restaurant. Most of the guest rooms come with a private balcony where you can relax after a busy day exploring Victoria. You are close to the bus station and the main shopping street. The historic Citadel and the gardens of Villa Rundle are also nearby. Back at Hotel Downtown you can enjoy drinks and snacks from the bar; open from 07:00 until late. At the restaurant choose from an à la carte menu and pizza selection. A rich carvery buffet is available Saturday at dinner and for Sunday lunch.

Sunbathing on the roof pool. Nıce rooms, quıet area. You need to get out a walk the area to see what ıs avaılable - plenty around there. Easy walk to bus and all central Malta connectıons. Nıce breakfast. It is modern and comfortable.

From Rabat (Victoria) it's very easy to reach all other places on the island. This central location is specially recommend for travellers who like to walk a lot. Apart of the ideal location the hotel is very comfortable and I had a pleasant stay there.Excellent base for exploring Victoria +Gozo.Had swimming pool though we did not use it. There was so much else to do.Good value for money, friendly staff and the central location. Very clean place. Its location is in a neighborhood undergoing redevelopment, currently it appears scruffy but it will improve.Check out time is too early, managed to book the room for another 8 hours but next time would like to book the late check out in advance. It was not in a particularly nice part of town and the street outside was noisy.Glad we chose a country view as in the street as there is a big college opposite which is being rebuilt. The children are bused in so it is busy round 8.10 till after 8.30 with loudspeakers organising the boys. It is also busy in the afternoon with the road being closed to ordinary traffic between14.00 to 15.15. The hotel does have a car park but you can't enter or exit during this time.breakfast was not replenished when it was finished. We booked a street view room however it seems that vistors applyingthrough websites get a room tucked in the back of the hotel with a wallas a view. After speaking to reception and a few uffs from her side wegot a street view room.

The Downtown Hotel is situated in Victoria, Gozo's main town. The island of Gozo is situated about 7 km north of the main island of Malta. The ferry dock in Malta (Cirkewwa) is about 45 minutes away by car from Malta International Airport. The ferry trip to Gozo takes about 30 minutes, landing at Mgarr in Gozo. The hotel is about 15 minutes away by car from Mgarr.
