Offering 2 swimming pools, a pizzeria and a restaurant, Mariblu is located next to the University of Malta in the village of Xewkija on Gozo Island. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. All air conditioned, rooms at the family-run Mariblu come with an LED TV, a fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities. Most rooms have a balcony. A buffet breakfast is served each morning. Mariblu is on the bus route from Mgarr Harbour to the town of Victoria. It is 3 km away from Gozo Heliport and the Ancient Temple Museum. Ġgantija, the megalithic temple complex, is less than a 5-minute drive away.

Everything was wonderful, the room was much larger than expected. And breakfast (eggs) were freshly prepared to order. The diving centre next door was excellent and Tom was an amazing instructor. We had two double rooms just outside the pool. Very convenient. However very frustrating to be woken up at 4.30 am by youngsters laughing and jumping into the pool.

The location of the hotel is not bad, but not very good. It's nearly from the Victoria, but you need to catch the bus to reach the city. The breakfast is soooooo goood!It's unbelievable. But the room is a little small, but if you stay here for 1 night, that's quite allright for 50 euro. Even though knowing them little, the staff was very friendly with us. It does have nice views, and is close by the harbor. I would recommend it for an overnight stay. There are not many restaurants around the hotel. A few snackbars etc. Though the hotels restaurant is excellent, someone with more need for change of food might find it difficult. You had to pay for air-conditioning. You had to pay for the tv. the noise coming from the kitchen during breakfast time. tv no chanels. There was no pressure in the showerhead of the bathtub! The tub did not look too clean. The toilet being part of the room and (very) small shower. The bed was very hard and got a bit bruised. There is no air condition (physically it is there, but switched off) and no TV, even though there is a sign saying you can get a remote against a 40 euro deposit.
