  I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at VB Apartments. The owner was friendly and helpful and the apartment had everything I needed. The breakfast supplies were an added bonus as were the computer and wifi access. The apartment is situated very conveniently.   My husband I have stayed 2 nights at the Port View Guesthouse in Marsaxlokk. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The Guesthouse just opened up not to long ago, so we must have been one of the first guests in that room, actually one of the first ones at all. The rooms were spottless.   I stayed at the Sally Port self- catering apartments for 5 nights. I wanted somewhere quiet yet close to Valetta and its tourist attractions. The Sally Port Apartments in Senglea were a perfect choice for me. There are a no. of very good local restaurents close by on the Senglea waterfront. Travel to Valetta i - We stayed for three nights at Sally Port Senglea and would have wished to stay longer. The room was comfortable and very well designed although we loved to spend time on the rooftop terrace with a stunning (!) view of the old towns of Valetta and Vittoriosa. We booked Grand Harbour view room and it was fantastic experience to see the "stories" and ships from our french balkony, or from directly our bed!!! every morning and evening. + It was close to all (Valetta is very small) + We could easily parking directly in front of the hotel. + The sound of gunfire clearly prevailed as the Grand Harb... hva folk sier » our water surface intensified it. Reception staff went above and beyond the call when my wife fell ill late at night. They rang around for a doctor then organised a taxi to take us to the medical centre and then organised our trip back. A friendly homely hotel. Couldn't fault anything. Off season renovations are underway should be a cracker of a hotel when these are finished. Good old fashioned service and just a short stroll to the centre of historic Valletta. Highly recommend.
