I read some reviews complaining about that. Some should bear in mind that Sliema is a night life area, not a monastery. However for the pickiest ones, ear plugs would be an easy solution. Off season renovations are underway should be a cracker of a hotel when these are finished. Good old fashioned service and just a short stroll to the centre of historic Valletta. Highly recommend.
