This was a great place to stay. I was recommended Palazzo Citta Valletta by a friend who had stayed there a couple of years ago. We stayed in the Garden Suite on the ground floor which opens out onto the Pallazzo's courtyard where you can dine outside if you to use your self catering facilities. It was very quiet being so sheltered. We visited …

at the beginning of June, the weather was perfect (mid 20s all week) and the apartment was always a comfortable cooler temperature. The architecture i - Franck was hands down the highlight of our stay, extremely attentive, generous with his time, ready to play concierge if need be, and a marvelous point of entry into Maltese history and culture. We'll never forget his invitation to a glass of wine in his beautifully appointed apartment, where the history of the Knights of St. John seeps through the walls. We had the penthouse in the same building, were delighted with the spaciousness and the view out to the harbor. St. John's Co-Cathedral is cl

very helpful and friendly staff, amazing view from balcony, central location, free car parking. - Excellent location, nice atmosphere, great breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, always ready with great tips regarding what sights to visit. We had a superb room with a magnificent view of the harbour. The hotel is newly renovated (and the AC was vital!), but has obvious historical charm, and a great location (very close to the centre and the bus terminal). The rate was very good and in…

cluded a full breakfast, with a great dinner discount for guests. All-in-all, one of the best hotels I've stayed at! Thank you! - Clean room decorated like a 'boutique' hotel. It was small, but good value for money. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent situation in Valetta, close to everything. Also, it was very quiet.

A true 5 star hotel! Staff were extremely nice and helpful, room (sea view) and facilities were great, and the breakfast qualified directly for my top 3 ever (and I have seen a few...). Never tried the restaurant, but expect it was good as well. Location was central and close to Valetta bus hub for traveling anywhere on Malta. - The comfortable and…

spacious room with brilliant harbour view. Modern tv with english channels. Polite, friendly and helpful staff.

We realy liked The individual quirkiness, we stayed in the quadruple room with a balcony at the front overlooking the cathedral square. Tiny spiral staircase up to the second level, comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. The items scattered throughout the hotel give it a great interesting feeling and ambiance. The location is fantastic literally …

in the heart of the city. There is a nice roof terrace and we enjoyed breakfast, my son had a full breakfast English style, my wife and I had toasted - Location, Location, Location, but it does come at a price. The Cathedral bells, but after the first night you begin to not hear them anymore. The rooms were comfortable, each individually decorated, so some thought has gone into the hotel. If you like bland, boring plain hotels then you wont like this. The service was excellent. you have to check in at the restaurant counter, and when we arrived on a Friday lunchtime, the restaurant was very busy. I thought we would not get looked after, but th

Nice renovated old house in the old neighborhood. Close to some attractions (Hypogeum + Tarxien Temples). Very friendly and talkative hosts. No problem with parking close to the property. You stay in the big family house (five children). If you prefer to have a full privacy at quiet place, this property is not for you. If you accept it, you can be…

rewarded with observing the normal (big) family life in Malta. The neighborhood was peaceful. Almost no noise inside from cars. Roosters have ensured - Absolutely recommended! While booking you should consider that it's a family-run guest house - as for us, much more intersting place than a five star hotel. Not for petty-minded finicking people jiggling the staff all the time but respectful ones who are rather curious to a wonderful family living in Malta too. Whenever returning to Malta we'll choose them again. Tho we don't have other experiences with accomodation in there, are sure that it just can't be better. Besides, Tarxien is an excelle

I stayed at the Sally Port self- catering apartments for 5 nights. I wanted somewhere quiet yet close to Valetta and its tourist attractions. The Sally Port Apartments in Senglea were a perfect choice for me. The apartments are in a recently restored traditional maltese house with super views of Valetta and its surrounds across the harbour from …

the second floor terrace (especially at night). There are a no. of very good local restaurents close by on the Senglea waterfront. Travel to Valetta i - We stayed for three nights at Sally Port Senglea and would have wished to stay longer. The room was comfortable and very well designed although we loved to spend time on the rooftop terrace with a stunning (!) view of the old towns of Valetta and Vittoriosa. The property has just been renovated which means it is in a perfect condition. Liliana - the owner of the house and the host - is a really nice person always ready to give tips and advice. Should you be concerned about the location of the h

Location! We booked Grand Harbour view room and it was fantastic experience to see the "stories" and ships from our french balkony, or from directly our bed!!! every morning and evening. + It was close to all (Valetta is very small) + We could easily parking directly in front of the hotel. + The sound of gunfire clearly prevailed as the Grand Harb…

our water surface intensified it. As if they were in Suleiman's army again and shooting at forts. It was very interesting to wake up at 8am gunfire an - Views of the Grand Harbour could not be bettered. Reception staff went above and beyond the call when my wife fell ill late at night. They rang around for a doctor then organised a taxi to take us to the medical centre and then organised our trip back. A friendly homely hotel. Couldn't fault anything. Off season renovations are underway should be a cracker of a hotel when these are finished. Good old fashioned service and just a short stroll to the centre of historic Valletta. Highly recommend.

Loved the location in the centre of the Old Town close to all the historical sites, buildings, shops, transport and Museums. The staff were very friendly and the room, though small, was very clean and comfortable. Great breakfasts and very good value for money. - Everything was top notch. We loved the staff the complimentary breakfast. Our room ha…
