  The room was excellent, the staff was very pleasant and helpful in every aspect. Additionally, it was very pleasant to be given the opportunity to have breakfast outside. After out stay at Corinthia St. Gorg, we already had a reservation at the Westin and stayed there for three nights, in hinesight we would have preferred to stay all four nights at... what people say » Corinthia since we enjoyed it more. - Everything, we were staying at the Riveira, supposedly a 4* it was dreadful and wanted somewhere good for New Year's Eve - luckily we chose the Corinthia.   We booked an apartment for 2 people and were pleased that it comprised area of around 50-60 m2, fitted with 2 bathrooms (!), of which we used only one, bedroom, living room and a functional kitchen with all necessary utensils. Not for petty-minded finicking people jiggling the staff all the time but respectful ones who are rather curious to a wonderful family living in Malta too.   When we arrived we were told that due to renovation of our rooms we could not stay at the Pergola but their sister hotel the Solana Hotel 5 mins away. We were not informed either by email/text.I was disappointed but when we arrived in the Solana it was just as nice.Very well kept. - relaxing and warm
