  This was a great place to stay. I was recommended Palazzo Citta Valletta by a friend who had stayed there a couple of years ago. We stayed in the Garden Suite on the ground floor which opens out onto the Pallazzo's courtyard where you can dine outside if you to use your self catering facilities.   I loved this hotel for many reasons. The hotel is situated in the heart of all the entertainment you could wish for. As a lover of cinema I was in heaven going to the cinema just next door to the hotel. There are many shops and restaurants to choose from. The Guesthouse just opened up not to long ago, so we must have been one of the first guests in that room, actually one of the first ones at all. The rooms were spottless.   I stayed at the Sally Port self- catering apartments for 5 nights. I wanted somewhere quiet yet close to Valetta and its tourist attractions. The Sally Port Apartments in Senglea were a perfect choice for me. We booked Grand Harbour view room and it was fantastic experience to see the "stories" and ships from our french balkony, or from directly our bed!!! every morning and evening. + It was close to all (Valetta is very small) + We could easily parking directly in front of the hotel. + The sound of gunfire clearly prevailed as the Grand Harb... ce que les gens disent » our water surface intensified it. Reception staff went above and beyond the call when my wife fell ill late at night. They rang around for a doctor then organised a taxi to take us to the medical centre and then organised our trip back. A friendly homely hotel. Couldn't fault anything. Off season renovations are underway should be a cracker of a hotel when these are finished. Good old fashioned service and just a short stroll to the centre of historic Valletta. Highly recommend.

Our children were happy to get toy horses as a present and on the whole I should say our emotions during the holiday were extremely positive.
