  Liked everything about this little hotel! Arrived late at night - no problem, the hotel had been in touch prior to arrival which made us feel really welcome. Huge thanks particularly to Lizzie (reception, lots of helpful tips and recommendations), Barbara (ever smiling, breakfasts cooked to order - brilliant!) and Milka (who looked after our room ... ce que les gens disent » very well). Excellent location. Very pleasantly surprised that the 'room' we booked turned out to be a very modern mini suite with separate lounge / k - I loved it. The whole staff made me feel as I was part of the family. It looks like a family run business. They cooked breakfast for me everyday and they took it to my room free of charge. Lovely staff. Facilities are good, bear in mind that it is a simple hotel, not a 5 star, but has everything you need if you are on holidays. I was a solo traveler who wanted to explore the whole country, and for that the location was great. I would definitively come back, I am already missing the bacon and eg

  The staff was super kind and helpful, both the woman who helped us enter one night we forgot the access code (OPS!) and Mr Joseph at reception, who helped us arrange a really last minute tour for Gozo/Comino and gave us great advices and indications every morning.   Location is perfect. Near the beach. And shopping centre. Wi-fi is free. Good value for money. Excellent for young people who expects to mix and party all night long. - Everything was clean and the facilities were good. Its location was as well perfect since it's situated in a party area and there's plenty of buses nearby.

  We booked an apartment for 2 people and were pleased that it comprised area of around 50-60 m2, fitted with 2 bathrooms (!), of which we used only one, bedroom, living room and a functional kitchen with all necessary utensils.   The location is quiet and there is a grocery shop nearby. Great for getting around on foot and with public transport in Sliema/Balluta Bay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. When we finally say the manager on our last morning there, she was very nice, after the very unprofessional communications (regarding payment, see below) that we had received from her upon our arrival.

  My 8th stay at the Clover in the last 2 years,that should be recommendation enough!!! Excellent value for money.Good location for bus station,shops,pubs,restaurants and the sea.Rooms cleaned everyday.
