I loved this hotel for many reasons. The hotel is situated in the heart of all the entertainment you could wish for. As a lover of cinema I was in heaven going to the cinema just next door to the hotel. There are many shops and restaurants to choose from. There is also a lovely little Chapel up the road dedicated to the saint St Rita were Mass is beautifully celebrated. The room we stayed in was lovely and spacious and had everything we needed. I liked also that we had WiFi free, the connection.

we had a great time there. people in reception were really helpful ! room is clean, breakfast and bars are very nice as well! have to mention the spa place,wonderful experience! because it was our first to visit Malta, I would like say a thanks to Robert who works for tourist information in lobby. he gave us many good advices and even helped me booked two day tour and some dinner table.Thank you very much Robert! the 3rd day we stayed was my birthday, I didn't expect InterContinental doing a. A superb hotel, the service was the real highlight, staff were unbelievably helpful and friendly at all levels. They even brought me a bottle of sparkling wine on the house for my birthday. Facilities are excellent, including the huge rooftop pool (which opens til late) and the vast array of top restaurants. Location is good, private beach is a short walk away. Comfortable king-size bed. Convenient location, close to shops, bars, restaurants in Spinola Bay/ Paceville. Some of the hotels in St. . The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and was perfect for making up lunch! The facilities were very good, great to have poolside towels provided free of charge. The indoor pool was great too along with the free sauna, steam room and turkish steam room. The location is both good and bad. It is perfectly located for a choice of restaurants and only a 20 minute walk to Spinola Bay and Balluta Bay which are lovely bays with piazzas and great restauran. My friends and I stayed at the intercontinental to celebrate my 30th birthday. We had a great time. The hotel couldn't do enough for us. We got an upgrade, I got complementary champagne and cakes for my actual birthday and a late check out was organised free of charge. All the staff we met were super helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We loved the private beach and the outdoor pool area. The breakfast was also great. Highly recommend this hotel. Central location. Excellent indoor and outdoor pool. Staff could not do enough to help. James at the Concierge Desk always had a smile on his face and was extremely helpful. All staff we interacted with at reception were so professional and courteous at all times. Food at the hotel was excellent. Found Parranga Restaurent on the seafront a little pricey but food and service was good. Loved the soft pillows on the beds, the ultra helpful staff, the swift quiet lifts - once we had worked out the bus routes it is a very convenient base to stay to visit the whole of Malta. Very clean and modern close to wild night life in Paceville that you don't have to hear and a few bus stops to Sliema and the ferry link to Valetta or handy bus stops for the whole island or the open-topped bus tour. I stayed in the hotel for both relaxation and business together with grown up son. We had a fantastic stay. The staff were lovely, helpful and professional. We were upgraded to a superior room facing the pool which was a bonus. The restaurants in the hotel were all great. Very good value for money. The hotel is also very close to buses with easy access to Valetta. We couldn´t ask for more. Great staff, very professional and kind (customer oriented) and excellent cooking, varied and simple, very good international food.. The structure is very big and luxurious, has also an excellent gym (large and airy) and a big pool on the roof top. To be revisited the SPA area (too small) and some aspects should be renewed (finishing in the rooms, air conditioning, furnitures ...). Enjoyed a weekend a break at the Intercontinental and loved every minute of it. The hotel has superb with spacious, comfortbale and modern rooms, and the hotel itself is really was really nice. As regards to food - breakfast is really good and the hotel has quite good restaurants. One MUST go and eat at the Water Biscuit. The reception staff took good care of us, especially Lara. Shower ran a bit hot and cold at times, but only a minor glitch. We first had a damp smelling room with a tired-looking shower. I complained to the reception and we were moved to another room the next day with no hesitation. They were very helpful with the move from one room to another and I had the opportunity of checking the new room beforehand. The location of the hotel is strange as it is right by the clubs and bars, however once you step into the hotel you could be anywhere and it was very close to the restaurants. Didn't like the long wait at my second visit to the spa (independently owned but in the hotel) plus the spa prices were a bit high..although the treatments were excellent. The hotel is situated in a very lively area with pubs and sportbars. Inside the hotel it´s calm. But as soon as you step out of the hotel you´re right in the busiest part of St Julian´s. Indoor pool's water was still cold.
