Tropicana Hotel ligger i hjärtat av Paceville i St Julians, 5 minuters promenad från stranden St George Beach. Hotellet har det största internetkaféet på Malta, en trendig bar och en Medelhavsrestaurang.
Tropicana Hotels erbjuder bekväma rum med balkong, restaurang- och barservice 24 timmar om dygnet samt ett telefoncenter och internetkafé, som också har öppet 24 timmar om dygnet. Den vänliga personalen i receptionen kan hjälpa till med biluthyrning och boka sportdykning och andra utflykter.
Hotellet ligger bara några meter från den centrala busstationen och den pittoreska båthamnen. Under dagen kan du ta en promenad till sandstranden och på kvällen kan du njuta av det livliga nattlivet.
Hotellets restaurang är mycket populär. Den erbjuder utmärkt mat och en avslappnad atmosfär. När vädret är fint, kan du äta på terrassen och beundra utsikten över Piazza Cascata. Baren passar perfekt för en drink.

- Location: in the center of St Julian, place where stuff happens at night. The best rated restaurants, bar and night clubs are located here.
- Price: really cheap hotel (about 32 euros per night, room for 2). But, that means that you should not expect much of it (see didn't like section).
- Restaurant: one of the best rated restaurants in Malta was part of this hotel. Breakfast that was part of the stay is served in this restaurant, but I also suggest you have a dinner there.

Budget-friendly, clean hotel, all the time helpful staff and a 24/7 restaurant nereby with very nice food. Facilities, bathroom, balcony, air-conditioning was completely ok. Bus stops and a very good supermarket are just around a 5minutes walk. I could store my luggage some hours before my original check-in time and take a walk to discover St Julians!.
I used to stay at the tropicana 7years ago,.this time back in Malta I saw and loved the way joey has refurbished it and the has developed into a really clean friendly hotel,.,the location is ideal ,.nothing bad to say about the place,., my room with the a/c,.,I really enjoyed my 3weeks vacation,.,staff where excellent,.,.
The place is very nice and close to the center. You can move with the bus, arrive easily in St. Julian by walk, you have all you want. The personal is kind and the room are clean and big enough for a 2 stars hotel.
It was all fantastic, excellent value, nowhere else in Malta you find a
single ensuite with bufea bf for 16 bucks, very clean, great patio with
restaurant and bar. Bf from 7-11. Lively area, bus stop 200m.
The location is perfect for people who want to spend a night in Paceville without having to drive after to go back to the hotel. The price is cheap but this does not mean that the hotel is not good.
We had room at the top floor with balcony with the view on the sea. Towels were changed everyday, staff very friendly, extremely good breakfast (buffet), good location.
Loved the location, value for money. Was surprisingly quiet considering it's in the middle of paceville an area with loads of bars and clubs.
Convenient location in the heart of Paceville & really good breakfast included in the price. Good value for money.Every from what I would expect froma two star hotel and more. Clean, friendly staff and a good atmosphere.
- You don't get a hairdryer, shampoo or soap in this hotel. We didn't mind this, but it would've been nice to know about it :)
- Shower was not working properly, sometime very hot water comes out, sometimes very cold.
- Slowest elevator.
It's a bit noisy part of St Julians with lots of party places so nothing can save you from the drunk neighbours sometimes returning home very late at night - don't forget to bring earplugs and transformer to use electric devices! 'For party people, not for coffee fans'.
It was hard to find it cause there is not any sign with the name of the hotel (actually there is is, but it's so small that you can not notice it).

It is forbidden to take guests to your room (even for just a few moments as was our case). One particular receptionist was everything but customer friendly. She would not even give her name - after refusing to do so she gave us her colleague's name whom we happened to know!.
The room was a bit small and the bathroom not perfect (we could not close the door...).
Breakfast could be better, but was free in the first place.
Noisy air conditioning.They only critisim I would have is that I asked reception for a hairdryer and they were not stocked at the hotel.
This I would expect to find in a hotel with a deposit required.
