Situato a 5 minuti a piedi dalla Fontana del Tritone, sulla piazza principale di La Valletta, l'Hotel Castille è un edificio del XVI secolo e ospita il ristorante panoramico De Robertis e la cantina e pizzeria La Cave nel seminterrato. A ogni piano dell'Hotel Castille troverete delle silenziose sale lettura. La struttura dispone anche di una caffetteria al piano terra e offre una vista su La Valletta e sul Porto Grande dalla sua terrazza. Le camere sono climatizzate e provviste di TV con 8 canali via cavo. Tutti gli alloggi sono dotati di bagno privato, nella maggior parte dei casi con vasca. Su richiesta è disponibile anche un ferro da stiro. Ogni mattina viene servito un assortito buffet per la prima colazione, che comprende frutta fresca, prosciutto, formaggio, uova e molto altro ancora. La principale stazione degli autobus di La Valletta è raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti e offre collegamenti con l'aeroporto di Malta. Il terminal dei traghetti Sliema si trova a 5 minuti di auto.

The central location close to the bus station and everything that Valletta has to offer. There was a night staff so we could get in late without a bother. The staff were helpful eg for our early departure they arranged sandwiches for the journey. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was excellent, very close to the city centre. I also liked the fact that it was an old building and had character, and the rooftop restaurant had excellent views.

Good location, near to tourists routs (although everything is in arm- length distance in Malta). Very kind and cordial staff. Nice view from the restaurant on the upper floor of the hotel. Breakfast is good. Warm welcome. Helpful staff. Can get food and drink anytime during day or night with useful bar/cafe on the ground floor. Free wifi, which was very useful. Very accommodating staff (I arrived post midnight). Room was very charming and clean with fabulous view of Great Harbour. Good value for money and central location. Location could not be better - right in the heart of Valletta on Castille Square next to the Upper Barrakka Gardens, and only 5 mins. to City Gate bus station. Close too everything like shopping ,churches,transportation etc.Also the staff is very accomodating and hēlpful.Rooftop rest.and the food is excellent. The breakfast was left out in the warm too long consequently the fruit salad was fizzy and the milk a bit off. The room I was in felt old and shabby, it really needed re-furbishing, especially the carpet. There was no proper shower, only a shower attachment on the bath. Breakfast was unexciting. - WiFi signal in the room/floors is very low. Bathroom fixtures in my room were terrible. The pressure of water was too weak. It was hard to fix the temperature: it was constantly wether too hot or too cool and I couldn't fix it. It was a nightmare. Airconditioning didn't work properly - although it was a bit better after we asked them to look at it. Quite dark rooms - poor lighting. Building work outside the hotel was disturbing as workers started with heavy machinery at 5am! Not their fault, I know, but annoying.nothing. Breakfast could be better, but to be fair it does the job and the coffee is drinkable. Only the air conditioning not woorking properly.
