Best family holiday so far. Melleiha has the most child friendly beach in Malta, it is also one of the largest. The apartment is located in the centre of Melleiha high street and a short bus ride from the beach (€2.60 adult return) or 20 mins walk (long steep hill). The high street has all you need with regards to restraunts, gift and food shops.

We appreciated the professionalism and friendliness of the hosts, who were only too happy to help with any questions or queries, and source anything that we needed. The apartment was the best we'd stayed in. It's like a home away from home, complete with laundry, two good-sized bedrooms and bathrooms. It had everything we needed plus more. We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough to anyone wanting superior accommodation in beachside Mellieha. We could just see the ocean from our balcon

The building is unique and interesting - nothing boring here, but not too much either. The welcome was just right - the hosts are friendly and hospitable, but not intrusive. They were helpful, kind and accommodating. Everything in the guest house felt well cared-for and clean, and it was exactly what I was looking for.

This is my second time at Bla Dorren, and it has been just right once again! The beautiful building is decorated simply which enhances the beauty of the high ceilings and tile floors and the abundant light from outside. Breakfast is fresh and abundant. The location has been quite convenient, near the bay, near the bus, plenty of dining, and many places to walk. The hosts are kind and attentive, but never intrude.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at VB Apartments. The owner was friendly and helpful and the apartment had everything I needed. I was there for a week and I really liked the relaxed atmosphere, met some really nice people there too.
The beds are comfortable, there is a kitchen to cook in and a nice living room and garden to hang out together.
Penny, the hostess, is welcoming and makes a tasty breakfast :)
Will definitely go back there next time I'm in Malta.

My boyfriend and I really liked this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, all have a little balcony, the facilities are good (toiletries, hair dryer, fridge, safe) the pool area is lovely, the views over the town are nice. The hotel was very quiet despite being very near the nightlife area. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was good, a continental mix with many options. Short walk to shops and the bus stops. Staff were very accommodating, both in terms of the stay in the hostel itself and giving us advice on how to get around Malta. The location is excellent, a short walk from Sliema, St Julien's and Paceville, while the bus stop is just 50m away. There is a small general store across the road. Hostel has free internet, tea and coffee making facilities, as well as an extensive kitchen. It was easy to meet fellow hostelers too, and there was a good friendly spirit around the building.

I have spent a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location is gorgeous and we were lucky enough to stay in room 601. It was comfortable, clean and best of all, overlooking the the bay. On arrival the receptionist took us not only to our room but guided us to the restaurant where breakfast is served. As the hotel is on different levels this was a great service.
