  Hotel Santana was so much better than we had expected, it is a delightful 4 star hotel right beside the bugibba bus terminal where you can take a bus to anywhere on the island, the staff are extremely friendly and willing to assist you with any queries or questions you may have, always smiling and cheerful. The breakfast was plentyful a buffet of ... vad folk säger » all kinds from yoghurt, cereals, granola, breads, juices, teas and coffees, also a full english breakfast buffet it will surly set you up for the day. - Fab location. Close to beach and night life. We stayed 13 nights on B/B. would prob not bother with breakfast of booking again as we only made it 5 mornings as it ends at 10. We were very happy with our standard room which was a good size and had a good sized balcony. The room was serviced everyday.

  Liked everything about this little hotel! Arrived late at night - no problem, the hotel had been in touch prior to arrival which made us feel really welcome. Huge thanks particularly to Lizzie (reception, lots of helpful tips and recommendations), Barbara (ever smiling, breakfasts cooked to order - brilliant!) and Milka (who looked after our room ... vad folk säger » very well). Excellent location. Very pleasantly surprised that the 'room' we booked turned out to be a very modern mini suite with separate lounge / k - I loved it. The whole staff made me feel as I was part of the family. It looks like a family run business. They cooked breakfast for me everyday and they took it to my room free of charge. Lovely staff. Facilities are good, bear in mind that it is a simple hotel, not a 5 star, but has everything you need if you are on holidays.   Our stay was very positive. We found it contributed greatly to our first impressions of Malta, and we will be back.   We booked an apartment for 2 people and were pleased that it comprised area of around 50-60 m2, fitted with 2 bathrooms (!), of which we used only one, bedroom, living room and a functional kitchen with all necessary utensils. The hotel was not especially booked, but it pleased us again to notice that we got nice seaview balcony (not all balconies... vad folk säger » feature seaview, some overlook a side street). Excellent value for money for those who prefer to prepare food independently (avoiding english breakfa - l'emplacement de l'hôtel : facile d'accès et calme.   I loved the location! Right next to the famous Blue Lagoon and with two little sandy bays of its own too. We booked for 3 nights and used the island as a base to explore Gozo on one day and also make a trip to Mdina in Malta one day. Overall the boats are frequent as various companies are available.
