The price of this hotel and spa was amazing and the location couldn't be better, only a two second walk to the water. The spa was absolutely beautiful and I couldn't be happier with the staff. All in all it was an excellent stay and exceeded all my expectations. . The staff were helpful and friendly, clean hotel, nice ambience, friendly coffee bar, nice bar staff, just lovely view of the bay, and nice food.

Food was excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient. I mislaid some gold earrings and the room maid found them for me.Very clean hotel. Comfortable room, excellent lifts (my wife has a phobia about them), excellent reception staff. A good upgrade offer to half board although the quality of the food varied a little.Location is good. For a younger couple we didn't have as many others our age but that really wasn't an issue for us. . The dining room was too big for me as I suffer from tinnitus and the noise at breakfast was too much for my comfort. Balcony small and very close to and overlooking another balcony and room. Felt embarrassed to be on the balcony. Gorgeous views though and I am not a person to sit on a balcony anyway. I would be concerned about the safety aspects of the balcony if I had children, and would keep the doors shut as a child could easily climb on a chair and onto the wall of the balcony ......... . Can't think of anything to criticise except the cream eclair I had!. Having to pay for parking. Car park was very gloomy although some improvements were made during our stay. . The room was too cold and the heater didn't work.Rooms were not 4 star quality and rooms were cleaned very late.A low but a little annoying noise during the nigth due to a compressor or something like that. The shower unit not working well.I tried to get in contact with the hotel to know how to get there. They were non-responsive. We ended up taking two buses because we weren't sure how much a taxi would cost(25e). Also, Bugibba is mostly catered to pensioners and sun tourists who dont have much interest in experiencing Malta. Fine dining was hard to find! Mostly fish 'n chips, English breakfast, hamburger cafeterias. only one english speaking tv program,bbc world news,no cnn,itv sky etc available in other 4 star hotels.
