  Very nice apartment, very friendly staff. Breakfast-Buffet was OK. Bus-Stop right in front of the Hotel (but apartment building was a few hundert meters down the street. Breakfast was at main building). - Great staff and a great spot. Easy to get into town as the bus stops out the front of the main unit building.   Mixed feelings about this hotel. First impressions were good - nice big marble lobby with comfortable lounge. The hotel is situated on the main road through Mellieha, making it very easy to find and, with a bus stop immediately outside, a handy base for travelling to Gozo, Valletta and Mdina.   We arrived close to 9pm and a concierge Joe met us. I really appreciated how he treat people. We were exhausted after the flight, but once we entered the hotel and Joe met us I was so surprised and pleased. Judging the staff on the example of Joe, I conclude that the staff is prefossional. I've stayed in many hotels so far in my life and this was the first time I said "thank you for a wonderful stay" as I checked out.   The staff was very helpful and being right on the water was great - I had a couple of complaints - they were dealt with promptly and I was compensated - for the most part the staff were very helpful. The view was fabulous and it was a very quiet place to stay if you want a get away from it ALL holiday.
